8 years agency experience and a drive for pixel-perfect designs.
I am an experienced contract digital designer with over eight years experience developing cutting-edge creative for a plethora of brands including Google, Nestlé, BlackBerry, MasterCard, Universal Music and the Terrence Higgins Trust.
My skills are incredibly diverse, having worked on everything from simple website designs through to complex mobile applications and social media.
My background in website development means I am also passionate about what goes on behind any digital design and I have a solid understanding of UX/UI and their associated processes. Having worked in senior roles for many years I am passionate, self-motivated and a forward-thinking designer with a drive for pixel perfect designs. I create with a common sense approach, have strong client facing and team management skills, extremely hard working, friendly and a competent team leader.
The Masonic Charitable Foundation is a brand new charity that combines four existing Masonic Charitable sites into one. It builds better lives by enabling opportunity, advancing healthcare and promoting independence for Freemasons and their families who have a financial, healthcare or family need.
My role was to create a UX solution for the site including data flow diagrams, UI design for both desktop and mobile responsive site, produce UI functional guidelines, client face and be involved in daily scrums. I worked in an agile approach and briefed in an external build company and assisted with QA process.
As a designer I always love learning new techniques and skills to aid my development. More recently interaction design has seen me learn new ways to present my ideas to clients and development teams. One bit of software I now include in my arsenal as a designer is Principle. It has become a key part of my daily work load, ways to present interactions to others and come up with unique ways to make a design even more user-friendly. The World Gold Council needed to communicate 5 years worth of data spanning 29 different countries on the supply and demand of gold. They required a creative solution, which also stimulated a conversation with their audience. For this project I was heavily involved with day to day comunication with the client to understand the data behind the project which enabled me to develop a well thought out concept.View on Dribble
